Burnaby is home to the PNE, some seriously good bubble tea, and every once in a while, we’ve had a few actors board their cats with us, and we’re not naming names, discretion’s part of the job, but let’s just say we’re pretty good at keeping things calm and low-key, famous cat or not. Whoever’s dropping off, the goal is always the same: a stay that feels personal, not processed.

Why Our Care Is Different

We’re a little obsessed with cats… in the healthiest way possible.

Cat Utopia has never been about filling our rooms. We built this business because we believe exceptional cat boarding is about the whole experience, not just the stay itself. We invest in our staff, support our community, and keep learning because better people provide better care. That’s the kind of cat hotel we’d want for our own cats.

We’re their friends. You’re their family. 🧡

Valet Service

Most Burnaby Cat Taxi runs fall in our $100 range. Whether you’re in Metrotown, Brentwood, Lougheed, Deer Lake, or North Burnaby, daytime pickups run 10 AM–2 PM and need 7 days’ notice; evenings run 6–8 PM. All valets are subject to staffing, so book early if you know your dates.

It’s like Uber, but for the fluffy ones.

Local Favourites

Burnaby is home to VOKRA, the Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association, which has been rescuing cats and kittens for over 25 years. As a cat-only facility ourselves, that kind of dedication is exactly what we love to see. BC SPCA also has a location in Burnaby, doing steady, essential work for animals across the community.
